Our library has a K-5th Adventure afternoon on Thursdays in addition to their weekly story times. Going to story time is certainly a highlight of our week for several reasons! ;-) We haven't been able to go to an Adventure afternoon in a long time because of his basketball practices and or a conflict in our schedule. Now that basketball is over we hope to attend these more often because he had a blast today! It is also very educational and offers good interaction with other kids! Today they made snow with cornstarch, water and shaving cream! Even I learned something! Cornstarch and water combined is really neat!! If you're curious just look it up on YouTube! ;-)
He ended up turning his snow into a pie! LOL! :-)
