Weekend of t-ball & parties!

Whew! Last weekend was extremely busy but a lot of fun!! We are almost recovered from it I think! ;-) It started with Brayden's last t-ball game of the season Saturday morning. This was the first game he got to play the "pitchers" position and he did GREAT!!

The rest of the day Saturday we ran errands and finished last minute preparations for my daddy's surprise 50th birthday party! We crashed late that night and prayed for the best!     ;-) We had a great service Sunday morning. Immediately following the service we helped Jonathan and Heather set up for Mckinleigh's 1st birthday party. After that was done the White Oak Hill ladies went to a wedding shower. We rushed back in time for the party!

We also celebrated Heather's college graduation during Mckinleigh's party. We had fun celebrating both milestones!! After the party we helped clean up and got ready for the next party! The service started as usual with a hymn and when it was time for Daddy to give the welcome and announcements the lights went out and  a picture slideshow started before he could even get to the pulpit! He was surprised! After the picture presentation everyone was dismissed to the family life center for the remainder of the service. We ate bbq, fried chicken, green beans, hush puppies and potatoes. It was delicious! The service included Daddy's favorite songs sang by his favorite son-in-laws (LOL), a sweet testimony from mama, a presentation from a deacon, the WAC and the M&M's, Brayden, Kaiden and Phillip sang Happy Birthday to him and Luke had the honor of preaching "The Marks of a Man of God." In closing my Granddaddy shared his thoughts and then my Daddy shared his thoughts of overwhelming surprise and appreciation! It was a precious time and a wonderful celebration! I was reminded how blessed I am to be a part of this family and to be Reuben Cason's daughter!

I am so blessed! God is SO good!
