Transplant - Day Forty (+23)

Landen has had a better day today! The doctor said he looked better and explained that when the cyclosporine level is high it will drain you and make you really tired. So that explains why he has been so tired this weekend. The doctor said he expects him to be more like himself in the next day or so. Things are about the same otherwise. He took two wheelchair rides today! Nana stayed with Landen last night and Luke and I were able to be at church this morning. It was so great to be there. We headed back to the hospital after church. We are so thankful for the many times Nana and other family members have stayed so that we could take a break. It helps so much. It's really hard to be away but it is necessary. The pain when he uses the bathroom seems to be a little better. They have increased his fluids to help. He is still passing some blood and blood clots. He did get sick tonight after taking one of his medicines but it's hard to figure out why. He had a harder time taking his night time meds so maybe he just worked himself up. Please keep us in your prayers. We are anxious for an update tomorrow from the BMT team to see where we're at and what the plan is.

So thankful Papa and Granny got to visit for a few day! My uncle Steve and aunt Deloris came yesterday. It was so nice to see them too. Regretfully we forgot to take a picture. We have been blessed with a wonderful family!
