Transplant - Day Forty-nine (+32)

It's been a pretty low-key day...which has been nice! The clinic called today about Landen's IVIg level. It is low again so he needs another treatment. It takes about 3 to 4 hours so they gave us the option to come on Thursday or add it to a clinic day which would make that a 6 to 7 hour day so we decided to go on Thursday for that. So now we will be in clinic the rest of the week. Landen has felt pretty tired today but so have Luke and I. It is such a big adjustment figuring out life outside of the hospital. I think the six weeks in the hospital is also catching up with us! Luke had to go back to Lincolnton today but Landen and I took a nap this afternoon. If you know me, you know I never take naps so that says a lot! Luke met Jonathan and Heather and got Brayden and Hannah Grace back tonight. They were planning to come back to Charlotte tonight but Brayden wasn't feeling well this morning. He has been dealing with cold/allergy symptoms for about 11 days now off and on. So to be safe Luke is taking him to the doctor in the morning to see if he's contagious and what's going on. We are so ready to be together so we hope it's nothing contagious! We're so glad they're back in town though which is one step closer to being together again. We can't wait and we're a little nervous...lol! It's going to be challenging figuring out a "new normal" for now but we're trying to make the most of it and remind ourselves this is just a season! Since Landen's treatment yesterday for the viruses he has not had pain while using the bathroom. This is such a relief! We pray that this means the viruses are clearing up and going away. Hopefully, this issue won't come back!! We thank the Lord for another good day!
