Things have slowed down a little bit for us thankfully! Even if it's just for a short while! March looks like it will be very busy so we will enjoy it while we can! :-) Luke got some very good news last week and we are praising the Lord! He had to have a follow up appointment with his gastrologist. His liver enzymes had to be re-checked. I'm not sure if I blogged about his last ordeal but a while back he didn't feel well for several weeks. The doctor didn't think it was a flare up with his UC but he wasn't sure what was going on. The only thing that showed up in his lab work was that his liver enzymes were slightly elevated again. We saw a liver specialist at Duke. By then Luke was starting to feel better and the specialist was not concerned about anything and just suggested to wait a while and have the liver enzymes checked again. The results revealed that his liver enzymes are back to normal!!! We are so thankful for this answered prayer and that Luke is feeling better! He has also had a time with a horrible case of eczema on his hand and this is doing much better as well! We are so thankful his UC is under control currently and that he is over this last ordeal. We pray he will stay well and thank the Lord for allowing him to feel better and his liver enzymes to return to normal!
