We met some family at Hardees where he wanted to have breakfast and then he opened more gifts!!
After breakfast we went to Marbles Kids Museum! This is one of his favorite places and what he wanted to do on his birthday! It really is a kid's dream world!! :-)
After playing hard all morning we went to lunch at his favorite place, Chick-fil-A!! After we ate we sang "Happy Birthday" and he blew out his candle on a Funfetti cupcake that he picked out and helped make! ;-) After lunch we went to Wal-mart! He was begging to go! He wanted to spend some birthday money and he knew exactly what he wanted!!
When we got home we loaded up the car and hit the road to Washington D.C. Turning 6 must have been exhausting because he fell asleep and slept quite a while. He woke up just in time for supper! He wanted Bojangles but we could not find one so he agreed with Arby's. We drove another hour or so and met Luke's parents where they were staying and then went to a restaurant and enjoyed some dessert while they had dinner and Brayden opened his gifts from them! :-) Then they took us to our hotel. We got there really late and were really tired but starting vacation and sleeping in a hotel made this boy's birthday really special!! :-)
We are so grateful and blessed to be the parents of these two precious boys!! :-)
