Landen Update!

We are so thankful there hasn't been much to report about in regards to Landen. He has been doing really well! We had a follow-up appointment at Duke with the immunologist last week. It was very routine and didn't reveal anything really new. If you remember he received a series of the pneumovax vaccine and then they repeated the pneumococcal antibody titre's to see if his body can fight off the bacteria now. We did discuss the results of that test and learned that Landen's body responded really well to the vaccines!! We are so thankful! We realized after discussing that that Landen hasn't seemed as sick this winter compared to other winters. The doctor said as long as things are going well we only to need to go to Duke once a year now and can do routine CBC's with our local pediatrician and have the results sent to Duke. While we were there they went ahead and did his yearly immunology blood work and a CBC. It will probably be a few weeks before we know anything. At the appointment they checked his weight and height and said he weighs 18 lbs. 11.8 oz and is 2' 9.15". We are so thankful he seems to be doing so well and pray it continues!
