Last week was one of those weeks when the unexpected happens. You can't plan for it and you can't avoid it. Early in the week we had a little winter weather. We got just a dusting of snow but quite a bit of ice. We did have to cancel and reschedule a few church activities but thankfully we didn't lose power and we stayed warm and safe. We also had an univited visitor last week...the flu! :-( Brayden started running a fever and feeling bad Monday. When he still had a fever by Thursday we figured something was up. We took him to the doctor and sure enough he tested positive for the flu. He had a miserable week and ran a fever for 6 days straight but he was so strong and handled it really well! Better than I probably would have! LOL! So between the icy roads and flu we stayed home most of the week! Here are a few snapshots of our week!
Anytime the word snow is mentioned around here people go crazy and buy all the bread! I couldn't believe there was not one loaf of bread on the shelf!! Luke got some extra snuggles with Hannah Grace during the snow day! (That's one of the best parts of a snow day!;-))
