Well, it ended up being another busy week for us and we ended up being at the doctor's office 3 out of 5 days!! We went back on Monday to have Landen's CBC repeated. The results were a little lower than they were on Thursday, so they asked us to come back again in 3 days.
Landen at the doctor's appointment on Monday
Monday night Brayden had his first baseball practice for this year. This is his first year in coach pitch! He is excited! :-)
He recently received an award for earning points from our Wednesday night youth program at church! He worked really hard and it paid off! He got a gift card to Walmart and this is what he picked out along with some orange tic tacs! ;-)

This little girl is just busy, busy and on the go!! Although she pulled up about a month ago just this week did she start doing it A LOT more!! And she decided to do it while on top of the dishwasher lid!!

On Tuesday Landen accidentally got hit in the eye with the corner of a board book. I checked it out and it wasn't red or anything. He went back to playing but then I noticed every few minutes he would cover his eye with his hand and start crying in pain. After a couple of minutes he'd go back to playing and was just fine and then it would happen again!! After this continuing to go on for a few hours we took him to the doctor's office. Come to find out he had a corneal abrasion. The doctor said there wasn't any permanent damage and prescribed him some eye drops. By the time we got home though he never complained about it again and thankfully didn't have any other issues with it!! We took him back to the doctor's office on Thursday to have his CBC repeated. He sat in the chair in the lab all on his own and talked the nurse's ears off! LOL! He told her the finger prick didn't hurt and asked her question after question while she drawed the blood from his finger!

The doctor came in with his results and was baffled because they were even lower! Despite the fact that Landen acted fine and had no symptoms of any sickness his CBC continued to drop. The doctor asked for the doctor's number at Duke and called him while we were there to see what needed to be done. We had an appointment already scheduled for March 23rd but they asked us to come Monday, a week sooner.

Friday and Saturday was consumed with the consignment sale! Thankfully that went smoothly and was a huge success. After the consignment sale was over though, everything with Landen started hitting me. I hadn't had much time to think about it until after the sale was over. I started getting anxious about the appointment but really tried not to worry too much but that is easier said than done! It's just hard not knowing what to expect at the appointment but we are praying and trusting God! Thankfully, Landen acts fine and says he feels good! That is certainly encouraging! Although it was a crazy busy week I'm thankful God has been with us every step of the way!
