Landen is six!!

Landen is six today! We are so thankful and humbled that we were chosen to be his parents! He adds so much joy to our lives. Here's a little bit about Landen and what his life is like! He's almost always the last one to get up each morning! He is in kindergarten at home and is doing really well! He is very smart! He wears 3T in pants, but only for the length...they either have to be adjustable waist or he has to wear a belt. He wears either a 2T  or 3T in shirts and a size 5 shoe. He's an extremely picky eater but loves junk food! His favorite snack is chips...salt and vinegar pringles! His favorite meal to have at home is spaghetti. His favorite meal to eat out is mexican. His favorite color is blue. His favorite toy is his new heatwave. (Thanks to his aunt Heather!;-)) His favorite thing to watch on netflix is Rescue Bots. I asked him what did he want to do when he grows up and he said stay home by myself! LOL! His best friend is Emma. Those two are inseparable at church...where you see one you see the other! He is pretty laid back and usually just goes with the flow. He is very determined and doesn't let anything stop him! He has an incredible imagination and the biggest personality!  He has a very tender heart toward others. He is quick to notice if someone is sad or not feeling well. He will quickly tell them he will pray for them! He never meets a stranger and will talk your ears off! ;-) He is constantly flipping through the house all day...he has so much energy! Needless to say there is never a dull moment when he is around. Although he has had many challenges and more to come we know nothing is impossible with God! One of his favorite songs says, "I know who goes before me, I know who stands behind, the God of angel armies is always by my side." He was singing this as it played on the radio the other day and it is so true!! He will be able to face whatever comes his way because God is with him! Thank you Lord for giving us Landen!!
