After they got everything set up and ready to go Landen looked at the reporter and said, "I have one question. Are you a Christian?" We weren't really surprised because that is Landen. He is a bold witness for the Lord. We were amazed and inspired by his courage!
As you can imagine, we were very anxious, but thankfully, the interview went well. It was somewhat hard at points with questions that we don't allow ourselves to think about much. The interview took about an hour. The reporter and the cameraman were very friendly. It was really nice to get to know them a little bit. The reporter is also a freelance writer and regular contributor to People magazine. She is also working on an article about Landen for the online edition of People magazine. She will let us know when it is published.
We were very open about our faith but as we expected those words didn't make the cut. However, we did what we could and the rest is in the Lord's hands. However He sees fit to use it is up to Him. We know the reporter and the cameraman left our home knowing who Jesus is and that our relationship with Him is what gets us through life's most difficult days.
The highlight for me was as they were leaving Landen offered to help as he opened the door for them. The cameraman looked at him and said, "you've already helped more than you know." It was obvious that he was touched in some way. That was worth it!
We're ready!

We are so thankful for these opportunities to share about our faith and to share the joy Landen brings with others!
