It's hard to believe we've been here for two weeks already! Hopefully the time will continue to pass quickly! Landen did not feel good this morning. He said his whole body hurt and he was nauseous and threw up once. They gave him some medicine and he slept.
His WBC dropped to 0.1 today, basically nothing. His platelet level was hanging on at 21 but they said it wouldn't get any better so they went ahead and did a platelet transfusion this morning. Landen woke up mid-day and was up for maybe an hour and he started feeling bad again. He got more medicine and went back to sleep. He slept most of the day.

Landen's hemoglobin level had dropped to 8 which is usually when they decide to do a blood transfusion so they did that this afternoon. Dr. Roehrs came by this afternoon and said the donor's cells had been collected and it was an awesome collection...like really good he said. He later said enough was collected to do about seven transplants! We were very excited and thankful to hear that! He said we should know an approximate time for the transplant by tomorrow afternoon. It was a really quiet day and we're thankful Landen was able to rest but it's so hard to see him not feeling well and sleeping like that. That is the extreme opposite of his usual self! He woke up tonight a little after 6 and said he felt better. He definitely acted better but he wasn't quite 100%.
He was up for a few hours before he started feeling bad again. He just got some more medicine and is going back to sleep. Hopefully, he will rest well tonight and will feel better tomorrow.
