Despite a rough start to the night, Landen had a good night last night. He slept late this morning and had a hard time getting going but once he got going he was good! It turned out to be a good and quiet day! They did give him an infusion of immunoglobulin today, which is what he was getting at home with our weekly infusions. He does need a platelet transfusion and a blood transfusion. They will give that to him tomorrow. His WBC went up a little today to 1.5 but they said that was expected because of the steroid he was on. Landen got the dressing on his picc line changed today and thankfully it went much better than it did last week. We had a new nurse today and she was great!!

We held a benefit concert the Friday before Landen came to the hospital. I'll hopefully post more about it later but our goal was to raise $10,000 for the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit at Levine's. We had so much help and support and couldn't have done it without our wonderful friends and family and even people we don't know. Thanks to so many people we were able to raise $11,437.00!!!! We presented it today and it was so great to be able to give back! We can't say it enough but our whole experience here has been great. Every staff member is so kind and acts like Landen is the only patient here!
They displayed the check in the lobby at Seacrest Studios!
