Transplant - Day Twenty-five (+8)

Landen got sick again before bed last night but after that he felt better and had a good night. He woke up earlier today than he did yesterday and was ready to play! He only played for a couple of hours, which was less than yesterday, but it is still progress! The rest of the afternoon he rested and watched movies. His blood work looked good today and he did not need any blood products. He hasn't felt as good as he did yesterday. His throat and stomach are the main areas causing him pain but overall he just doesn't feel good. He's not really acting like himself either. He has one oral medicine and that is probably the worst part of his day. He fights it hard and you can't blame him with the throat pain he is dealing with. Please pray that it will get easier for him to take his medicine. He asked for food today, the first time in a long time! Other than a few bites he really hasn't eaten in a week and a half. He only took a few bites today but he did drink some too and this is major improvement. We hope that continues. Landen started loosing his hair today. Dr. Roehrs is good...everything he has predicted has happened. So while we were expecting it to happen this weekend it doesn't make it any easier. We've talked to him about it and he had a few questions but he doesn't act like it bothers him. Please pray that he handles it well. Please also continue to pray that he will feel better and that his cells will grow!
