Transplant - Day Twenty-two (+5)

We've been here for three weeks now! Thankfully, it has gone by fast and hopefully the time will continue to pass quickly for now. Landen slept all morning. He would wake up to use the bathroom and we would ask him how he felt and he would say he didn't feel good and go back to sleep. He woke up shortly after noon. It took him a little while to wake up and get going and he did get nauseous and throw up. After he gets sick he usually perks up and feels better for a little while. He had some friends visit today and it is amazing how much that helps him. He wanted to play and they did! Friends are the best medicine! :-) He also enjoyed a visit from Mr. Perry and Mrs. Judy. He was so happy to see them and they were him! He wore himself out though and crashed around 4:00. He started running a slight fever. Every time he has a fever they will do blood cultures and we have to wait 24 hours for the results. They also started an antibiotic just in case until they know for sure. He has been in the bed since 4 this evening and has been nauseous a few times and threw up a couple of times. He is so pitiful and feels so bad. It's so hard to see him this way. But thankfully he had a better day today than he did yesterday. The doctor said this is the tough part and that everything is going as expected. Please continue to pray for us!!
