This day started in workshops again at 10am. The topics were on heart and kidney disease in MOPDII. After the workshops, a local restaurant closed to the public and offered a private luncheon for the Potentials Foundation and the Walking with Giants Foundation. It was an Italian restaurant and it was DELICIOUS!! We all agreed it was the best meal we had all week! We had cupcakes for dessert...oh but not just any cupcake....D.C. cupcakes from the TLC show. They donated them! Unfortunately, I don't have a sweet tooth so they were too rich for me but everyone else loved them!! We got to talk a little more to Jeana's mom, exchange our contact information and take a few pictures.

After lunch everyone went to the zoo. We only covered about half of it because it was so HOT!! The kids enjoyed it though and that's what matters! :-)

We split up for the rest of the day....Luke, Brayden, Daddy & the Johnson's went to the Nationals baseball game and me, Landen, Mama and the Huff's went on an excursion! LOL! Heather wanted to see where D.C. Cupcakes is filmed and it was a lot farther away than we thought! We did a ton of walking again but we found it!!
On the way back we decided to ride a bus and we actually got to ride for free because we didn't know what we were doing and we had a really nice bus driver!! LOL! We wished we had gotten on the bus a lot sooner!! We wanted to go to Bobby's Burger Palace, Bobby Flay's restaurant! Thankfully, that was much easier to find! It was delicious too!! After we ate we rode the Metro to the Monuments. Me and Mama were too tired and not very interested so we found a place to sit while the Huff's went to the Lincoln memorial and war memorials. It turned out to be a really nice evening!
They had a great time at the game too! :-)
