Baby Update-32 Weeks

I had my first non-stress test, an ultrasound and saw the doctor on Monday. The NST went great. They are basically looking for two increases in her heartbeat during a twenty minute time frame. Thankfully she was awake and active so she passed the first test! :-) The ultrasound went well too. They were just checking on her growth. We didn't get to see a whole lot or get a real good picture because there's not much extra room and she had her hands in her face. Here is the best picture the tech got...

Oh, and she is definitely still a girl!! ;-) The doctor was very pleased with my blood sugar numbers so the medication is helping and it seems they've found the right dosage. I measured 34.5 weeks (2 weeks ahead). The doctor went over the ultrasound results with us and said they like for the baby to be between 10%-90% for their size and gestational age. She said the baby measured at 90% and the estimated weight was 5.5 pounds. So she said they will keep a close watch on her by continuing the NST twice a week and will do another ultrasound in about a month.
