Transplant - Day Three

Thankfully, we all had another good night! Today's plan was a repeat of yesterday. He received his pre-meds and then a little while later he got his shot of Campath. It was still somewhat of a fight today but not as bad as yesterday. Hopefully it will get easier for him each day.

The BMT Team came by this morning and did their evaluation. They said his hemoglobin is low and that he will need a blood transfusion tonight. It will have to be tonight because they have to space it out from the Campath. His hemoglobin being low is completely normal. The Campath has done it's job and his lymphocytes are at zero. They needed to increase his fluids today since he wasn't getting enough.

The afternoon and evening went great!  We had some fun visits from the Winoker's, PaPaw and Nana, Lois, Heather, Makia, and Lana. We are so blessed with a great family and great friends. We are so thankful for a smooth and easy day for Landen. He is doing well and things are going as expected. We are so grateful! Thank you again for your prayers.
