Transplant - Day Fifty-seven (+40)

Landen is doing pretty good. He says he feels good but he's not totally convincing. He hasn't been as active lately but we have to remind ourselves he still has a long ways to go. He started having some back pain last night and he has been more tired lately. Things went well in clinic today. The doctor thinks the back pain is from the virus. The levels from Friday came back and have gone up again. We are waiting for the results from Monday's blood work but if the virus isn't any better the doctor wants to go to the back up plan and try a clinical study drug that he is familiar with and has seen work really well. Please pray that the virus will start to improve and if it doesn't please pray that we will have wisdom and peace regarding the new drug. We have to sign consent and it's just hard to know what to do. The biggest side effects are diarrhea and vomiting but just the fact that there's not a lot known about it because it is being studied makes us nervous. Thankfully, Landen is not showing any symptoms of the virus. Please pray that continues. Some good news is that Landen is still all donor cells and his blood work looks good! We're so thankful for this good news despite some slightly discouraging news. God is much bigger than this virus though and we know that He is able to heal! Please join us as we pray and believe!
